  - Jane Capellaro, Artist and Teacher

An Artist and Teacher: I began to refine my art skills when I was very young in an artistic family. I continued my studies at Cooper Union College of Art and Architecture, NY, NY in the late ‘60s. I earned a degree in education at Western Connecticut State University, Danbury CT in 1975. I have been making art in this area for over 20 years. I was attracted to the beauty of the area and moved here to the tristate corner from southwestern Connecticut and began teaching in the area.
